Six Roses Rosé 2020

Benjamin Taillandier • 750ml

$25.95 $22.95

Benjamin Taillandier Six Roses, like its sibling Laguzelle, is made from Cinsault, Syrah, and Carignan grapes which are farmed following a biodynamic approach. All grapes are harvested by hand and are from Languedoc, Southern France. Spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast, unfined, unfiltered, aged 6 months in stainless steel.

The wine is fruity with notes of wild strawberry, very Mediterranean with hints of rosemary and flowers. Refreshing rosé wine with a good body - calling it light-bodied would be somewhat reductive. This rosé wine can be drunk all year round and can be paired with light entrees.

The Producer: Domaine Benjamin Taillandier

"I live in the Minervois region (south-west of France) since 2007. I do not come from a family of winemakers, so from day one, this commitment has been a great challenge. At this moment, my Domaine thrives by the Black Mountain (most south relief of the Massif Central) and stretches on twenty hectares which represent sixteen vines flourishing on south exposed terrace fields in a Mediterranean climate, growing on mostly clay-limestone soil, with occasional schist, sand, and marble.

Since the very beginning of my establishment, the whole vine process is organic. The grape variety is totally Mediterranean. Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, and Syrah for the red. Grey Terret, Grey Grenache, White Grenache, and some Muscat for the white. The non-vine land of the domaine is olive trees, fields, and garrigue.

The grape harvest is manual through twelve-kilo crates which are gravitationally emptied in the containers. All yeast and lactic bacteria are indigenous, as the only input to my wine is a minimal dose of sulfur necessary during bottling."

Shipping & Returns

Stress Free Shipping

At Primal Wine we like to be transparent about everything we do. When it comes to buying products online, shipping is the most important aspect, and that’s why we take great care in shipping and handling your order using only 100% recycled packaging material. We don't ship to: LA, KS, MS, AL, WI, KY, NH, UT, SD, MI, AR.

Re-shipping

If a package gets returned to us after three failed delivery attempts, we can only re-ship the wine upon payment of a re-shipping fee, which will be determined based on quantity and shipping address. Shipping wine is extremely expensive, we are sorry about this, but we have no other choice. Please make sure there's always someone at the address you enter as your shipping address.

Canceling an Order

If you'd like to cancel an order after it's been shipped, we can do so upon payment of a small cancelling fee – the amount depends on how big the order is. Carriers charge us a lot of money to recall a package en-route.

Important Compliance Requirements

UPS and other carriers we might occasionally use can only deliver wine to customers who are 21 years or older.

Important COVID Update

UPS and FedEx declared that in order to protect their workers and customers, they no longer require a signature on delivery. This does not mean they will drop a wine box at your door. UPS delivery workers will make sure the person receiving the wine is 21 years or older, and will ask for his/her name - only then do they deliver the package.

Shipping Rates and Options

An important premise: wine bottles are heavy – about 3 pounds each – and shipping is expensive! Primal Wine is not backed by venture capital money – we proudly are a mom and pop independent online store – and we must charge shipping on most orders, otherwise we wouldn’t be in business. However, we try our best to offer you very competitive shipping rates and frequent free shipping discount. Please subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the loop!

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us via e-mail at hello@primalwine.com between 9 am and 5 pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Sunday, we would like to understand and try to solve your concerns. Returning wine is not allowed by law, and so we might make arrangements for a refund if appropriate
