The Wine: Gelber Muskateller 2018
Der Rebenhof Gelber Muskateller "Spätfüllung" is a white natural wine made from 100% certified biodynamic Gelber Muskateller grapes grown in Southern Styria, Austria.
Importer's notes: This Gelber Muskateller comes from 20-40 year old vines grown on ancient river and lakebed deposits of sandstone, gravel and calcareous marl on a single steep slope. This „Spätfüllung” (late bottling) was aged on its lees in
stainless steel for 18 months. An extremely elegant nose of orange blossom. Reminiscent of opening a fresh bag of sour peach gummy candy. Fruity and textural with notes of yeast. Stone fruit and citrus with a savory finish.
The Producer: Der Rebenhof
