Alive is Brightland's everyday bottle: a blend of Arbosana and Koroneiki olives from family farms on California's Central Coast and in the Valley.

Fresh, green and grassy is how they describe it, and versatile is the operative word. It is the one you use without thinking, for drizzling and dipping, and it is good enough to drink straight if that is a thing you do.

The bottle is opaque and printed rather than clear glass, because light is what makes olive oil go stale. 375 ml (12.7 fl oz).

Aishwarya Iyer started Brightland after reading how much of the olive oil sold in America is not what the label says it is. Her answer was to go the other way entirely: California olives from small family farms on the Central Coast and in the Valley, one harvest a year, named on the bottle.

The bottles are opaque and printed rather than glass and clear, because light is what turns good olive oil stale. It is a design decision that is really a shelf-life decision.

Pantry FAQs

Pantry items are fulfilled by our partner retailer in California, so they ship on their own and will not arrive in the same box as your wine. Order both and you should expect two parcels, often on different days.

You will receive tracking for the pantry parcel within 3-4 business days.
