Counter Culture Hologram Coffee Beans, 12 oz

Price: $23.00

Counter Culture's medium roast blend, drawn from coffees across several growing regions rather than built around one.

The bag reads fruity, milk chocolate and syrupy. Ripe fruit against chocolate, with a texture that holds it together, which is the part that stops a blend like this reading as busy.

Whole bean, 12 oz.

The Brand

Counter Culture Coffee

Counter Culture started in Durham, North Carolina in 1995, blending coffee for restaurants around Durham and Chapel Hill. The first bag went to a restaurant called Pop's.

They were early to the parts of the trade that later became standard. A shade-grown, bird-friendly line launched in 1997, and they publish an annual transparency report on what they paid and to whom, which is still not something every roaster does.

They work mostly with smaller growers and cooperatives, and run training centres around the country alongside the two roasteries.

Pantry FAQs

Pantry items are fulfilled by our partner retailer in California, so they ship on their own and will not arrive in the same box as your wine. Order both and you should expect two parcels, often on different days.

You will receive tracking for the pantry parcel within 3-4 business days.

Wine requires an adult signature on delivery. Pantry items do not, so they can be left at your door like any ordinary parcel.

Yes. Nothing here is tied to a wine purchase. Shipping for pantry items is calculated separately at checkout.

Most of what we carry is shelf stable until it is opened, and would rather sit in a cool dark cupboard than on a sunny counter. Anything that needs refrigerating once opened says so on the label.

Email us with your order number and a photo of the problem and we will make it right.

These are things we actually cook with, picked by the same people who pick the wine. A good bottle tends to want something on the table next to it, and this is the shortlist we would hand a friend who asked.
