Andytown Single Origin No. 2 Coffee Beans, 8 oz

Price: $17.50

A natural process coffee from East Java, grown on Mount Ijen. Natural processing dries the fruit onto the bean instead of washing it off, which is where the fermented, candied character comes from.

The bag reads soursop, grape candy and chamomile. Tropical and slightly wild, with a floral settle at the end.

Whole bean, 8 oz, with the roast date printed on the bag.

The Brand

Andytown Coffee Roasters

Andytown was started in 2014 by two baristas, Michael McCrory and Lauren Crabbe, who met working behind a bar and fell in love over coffee. They wanted to bring roasting to the Outer Sunset, which at the time was not where anyone put a specialty roastery.

Everything happened in a 600 square foot space on Lawton Street to begin with: roasting, baking and serving, all of it. They have since opened across the west side of the city and beyond, and the stated aim for each cafe is the same, a place people can come together.

Their own description of the feeling they were after is your Irish granny's kitchen.

Pantry FAQs

Pantry items are fulfilled by our partner retailer in California, so they ship on their own and will not arrive in the same box as your wine. Order both and you should expect two parcels, often on different days.

You will receive tracking for the pantry parcel within 3-4 business days.

Wine requires an adult signature on delivery. Pantry items do not, so they can be left at your door like any ordinary parcel.

Yes. Nothing here is tied to a wine purchase. Shipping for pantry items is calculated separately at checkout.

Most of what we carry is shelf stable until it is opened, and would rather sit in a cool dark cupboard than on a sunny counter. Anything that needs refrigerating once opened says so on the label.

Email us with your order number and a photo of the problem and we will make it right.

These are things we actually cook with, picked by the same people who pick the wine. A good bottle tends to want something on the table next to it, and this is the shortlist we would hand a friend who asked.
