Athletic Brewing Upside Dawn Non-Alcoholic Golden Ale, 12 oz

Price:
$7.00
The golden ale, and the easiest drinking thing Athletic make. Where Run Wild is hops forward, Upside Dawn is the one you put in a cooler without thinking about it.
It is crafted to remove gluten, though Athletic are careful about how they say that, and so are we: it is fermented from grains that contain gluten and the final gluten content cannot be verified. If you are coeliac rather than avoiding gluten by preference, that distinction matters.
12 oz can.
The undemanding one, which is the point of a golden ale.
Cold, on a hot afternoon
With food that is not trying to compete
In a cooler, at a beach or a trailhead
When you want a beer rather than a specific beer
As the safe option to have in the fridge for guests
Crafted to remove gluten. Fermented from grains containing gluten; the gluten content of this product cannot be verified and it may contain gluten.

The Brand
Athletic Brewing Company
Athletic Brewing exists because Bill Shufelt could not get a decent non-alcoholic drink in a beer garden. He gave up alcohol in 2013, found that everything on offer was either sweet or awful, and in 2017 left a job at one of the world's largest hedge funds to fix it.
Everyone told him not to. Brewers did not want to make non-alcoholic beer, shops did not want to stock it and drinkers did not want to buy it. He brought in John Walker, a head brewer out of Santa Fe, and built the first brewery in the United States dedicated entirely to beer without alcohol, in Stratford, Connecticut.
It is now the largest and most decorated non-alcoholic brewery in the country, which is a reasonable return on being told no by an entire industry.
Pantry FAQs
Will this ship with my wine?
No, pantry items travel separately.
Pantry items are fulfilled by our partner retailer in California, so they ship on their own and will not arrive in the same box as your wine. Order both and you should expect two parcels, often on different days.
You will receive tracking for the pantry parcel within 3-4 business days.
Do I need to sign for the delivery?
No. Unlike wine, food does not need a signature.
Wine requires an adult signature on delivery. Pantry items do not, so they can be left at your door like any ordinary parcel.
Can I order pantry items on their own, without wine?
Yes, a pantry order stands on its own.
Yes. Nothing here is tied to a wine purchase. Shipping for pantry items is calculated separately at checkout.
How should I store it?
Check the label first.
Most of what we carry is shelf stable until it is opened, and would rather sit in a cool dark cupboard than on a sunny counter. Anything that needs refrigerating once opened says so on the label.
Something arrived damaged or wrong. What now?
Get in touch and we will sort it out.
Email us with your order number and a photo of the problem and we will make it right.
Why does a natural wine shop sell pantry items?
Because the bottle is rarely the whole evening.
These are things we actually cook with, picked by the same people who pick the wine. A good bottle tends to want something on the table next to it, and this is the shortlist we would hand a friend who asked.
