When is my order shipping?

We are doing your best to ship your order in 2-3 business days.

We will process and ship your order in 2-3 business days, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as the Carrier scans the shipping label.

Ground shipping time depends on location, here's a breakdown:

West Coast: 1-2 business days
Midwest: 3-4 business days
East Coast: 5 business days

Process time is not shipping time. Shipping time starts from the days successive to the day of shipping, after the order has been processed.

Do I have to sign upon delivery?

Yes, someone 21 years or older must sign for the package.

Signature on delivery is mandatory for wine deliveries. Please make sure someone is at the shipping address to sign for the package.

If applicable, please consider delivering the package to a business address to ensure someone is available to sign for the package.

We also have the option of delivering the package to a Carrier's store for pickup. Please reach out to us to coordinate.

Carrier will try to delivery a package up to three times before returning the package to us.

What if I miss a delivery?

Worry not, we have options, but please read carefully.

If you miss a delivery and a package gets returned to us we have two options:

1) Reship the package right away: due to the very high cost of shipping and returns, we must charge a re-shipping fee to be determined based on package size and shipping destination.

2) Consolidate the returned package with your next order: this option is free of charge and it's the most popular option.

How is rose wine made?

Rose is made from red grapes given only brief contact with their skins, usually from a few hours to a day. That short time gives the wine its pink color, and the juice is then pressed off before it develops into a full red. It is not made by blending red and white wine.

Is natural rose sweet or dry?

Almost always dry. The sweet pink wine many people picture is a mass-market style. Natural rose is made dry and savory, built to drink with food, with the fruit coming through as freshness rather than sugar.

What is the saignee method?

Saignee, French for bleeding, is one way to make rose. Early in a red-wine fermentation, some juice is bled off after brief skin contact and finished separately as rose. It is a traditional method that also concentrates the red wine left behind.

What grapes are used for rose wine?

It depends on the region. Provence-style rose leans on Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvedre, while cooler regions use Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Cabernet Franc. In Italy you will find rose from Nerello and other native grapes. Almost any red grape can make it.

What is the difference between rose and orange wine?

The grapes and the skin time. Rose is made from red grapes with only brief skin contact, giving a pink wine. Orange wine is made from white grapes left on their skins for weeks, giving an amber color and more tannin and grip.

How should I serve rose wine?

Serve it well chilled but not ice-cold, so its aromas and texture can show. Drink it young while it is at its freshest, and treat it as a flexible, food-friendly wine for any time of year rather than a summer-only pour.
