We will process and ship your order in 2-3 business days, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as the Carrier scans the shipping label.

Ground shipping time depends on location, here's a breakdown:

West Coast: 1-2 business days
Midwest: 3-4 business days
East Coast: 5 business days

Process time is not shipping time. Shipping time starts from the days successive to the day of shipping, after the order has been processed.

Signature on delivery is mandatory for wine deliveries. Please make sure someone is at the shipping address to sign for the package.

If applicable, please consider delivering the package to a business address to ensure someone is available to sign for the package.

We also have the option of delivering the package to a Carrier's store for pickup. Please reach out to us to coordinate.

Carrier will try to delivery a package up to three times before returning the package to us.

White wine is made from white or green-skinned grape varieties, and occasionally from dark-skinned grapes where the juice is separated from the skins immediately after pressing so no color is extracted. The winemaking process begins with harvesting the grapes, followed by pressing to extract the juice, which is then fermented, aged, and bottled. Unlike red wine, which ferments in contact with the skins for days or weeks, conventional white wine ferments with minimal to no skin contact, which keeps the wine pale in color and light in tannins. The result is a wine defined primarily by acidity, fruit character, and aromatic freshness rather than structure and grip. Natural white wine follows the same basic process but with key differences: the grapes are farmed organically or biodynamically, fermentation happens with native yeasts found naturally in the vineyard and cellar, and the winemaker avoids adding commercial yeasts, fining agents, or significant amounts of sulfur dioxide. The most widely recognized white wine grapes in the world are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, and Gewürztraminer. Chardonnay is the most planted white variety globally and is the grape behind white Burgundy, Chablis, and most traditional method sparkling wines. It produces a wide range of styles depending on climate and winemaking, from lean and mineral in cooler regions to rich and textured in warmer ones. Sauvignon Blanc is known for its bright acidity and aromatic intensity, with characteristic notes of citrus, herbs, and sometimes gooseberry. Riesling is one of the most terroir-expressive grapes in the world, capable of producing wines of extraordinary complexity and aging potential, particularly from Germany's Mosel and Pfalz regions and Alsace in France. Pinot Grigio ranges from crisp and neutral in a northern Italian style to deeply colored and textured when made with skin contact. Conventional winemaking often relies on lab-grown yeasts, acidity regulators, and fining agents like egg white or gelatin, processes designed to standardize flavor and ensure stability. Natural white wine skips these interventions. The grapes are farmed without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, fermentation is triggered by the native yeasts already present on the grapes and in the cellar, and the wine is typically bottled unfined and unfiltered with little to no added sulfur dioxide. The practical result is a white wine that behaves differently from what most drinkers expect. It may be slightly cloudy rather than brilliantly clear. It may have a more textured, alive quality on the palate. The flavors tend to be less predictable and more site-specific, reflecting the particular vineyard, vintage, and producer rather than a standardized house style. Lighter, mineral-driven whites like Chablis, Grüner Veltliner, and Muscadet work beautifully with raw and lightly cooked seafood, oysters, shellfish, and fresh goat cheese. Aromatic whites like Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Blanc pair naturally with spiced dishes, Thai and Vietnamese food, and dishes with a touch of sweetness from caramelized onions or roasted root vegetables. Fuller-bodied whites, including skin-fermented Chardonnays and textured Chenin Blancs, hold up to richer preparations like roasted poultry, creamy pasta, and aged cheeses. Most natural white wines are best enjoyed within a few years of release, though some age-worthy examples, particularly Chenin Blanc and Riesling, improve over decades. Natural whites often show best at cellar temperature rather than straight from the refrigerator, as over-chilling can mute their aromatics and complexity.
