Château de Roquefort is located in the heart of Provence, France. Nestled in the Côtes de Provence appellation, this estate benefits from a unique microclimate courtesy of its elevated position at 390 meters above sea level and proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. Since 1995, under the stewardship of Raimond de Villeneuve, the château has embraced a philosophy of minimal intervention and environmental respect, cultivating red and white grape varieties indigenous to the region. The vineyard's terroir yields a diverse array of wines, including reds, whites, and the rosés for which Provence is renowned.

The Provence wine region in southeastern France is celebrated for its rosé wines, constituting approximately 90% of its production. Provence stretches along the Mediterranean coast, from the Rhône River in the west to the Côte d'Azur in the east. The region's wine history dates back over 2,600 years, making it the oldest wine-producing area in France.

3. Coteaux Varois en Provence: Located in the heart of Provence, this region has cooler, higher-altitude vineyards that produce wines with good acidity and complex flavors. The primary grapes are Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault.

4. Bandol: Famous for its robust reds primarily made from Mourvèdre, Bandol also produces exceptional rosé and white wines. The vineyards here benefit from the area's well-drained limestone soils and warm climate.

5. Cassis: Known for its white wines from Marsanne and Clairette, this coastal region offers elegant citrus and herbal notes.
