Prisinzano Costa d'Amalfi Bianco DOP 2024 is a dry white wine from the Amalfi Coast, Campania, produced on the organically farmed estate of chef and restaurateur Frank Prisinzano, who purchased the property — an 822-year-old palazzo and 14 acres of terraced farmland — in 2022. The blend follows the Costa d'Amalfi DOP's white wine requirements, based on Falanghina and Biancolella, two indigenous coastal varieties. The winemaker is legendary Bruno de Conciliis. Prisinzano Costa d'Amalfi Bianco DOP 2024 is aged in stainless steel.

Spaghetti alle vongole, Japanese steamed sea bass with yuzu, grilled branzino, fried calamari, Amalfi lemon risotto, burrata, seafood fritto misto, grilled shrimp.

Important Compliance Requirements

FedEx and other carriers we might occasionally use can only deliver wine to customers who are 21 years or older. Someone must be at the address to receive the package, carriers don't just drop a package and leave. They must ensure the person receiving the wine is 21 or older.

Re-shipping a Package

If a package is returned to us after three failed delivery attempts, we can only re-ship the wine upon payment of a re-shipping fee, to be determined based on the shipping address and number of bottles. Shipping wine is extremely expensive. We are sorry about this, but we have no other choice. Please make sure there's always someone at the address you enter as your shipping address.

If you'd like to receive a refund for a package that was returned to us after FedEx made three delivery attempts, we can do that but we must keep a $20 refund fee; FedEx charges us a lot of money for returns, unfortunately, I can't stress this enough.

Re-routing a Package

If you'd like to reroute a package after it's been shipped, we can do so for a $20 re-routing fee. We cannot re-route a package across state borders. For any change of address, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 1-2 days from placing the order or we cannot guarantee we'll be able to reroute or change your order's shipping address.

Canceling an Order

If you'd like to cancel an order after it's been shipped, we can do so upon payment of a small cancellation fee – the amount depends on the size of the order. Carriers charge us a lot of money to recall a package en-route.

Heat/Frost damage

We are not responsible for heat- or frost-related issues. We offer ice-packs upon request. Please let us know if you think that there could be heat-related issues. If we don't hear anything from you regarding weather issues before an order is shipped, or if you don't request a hold due to the weather, we are not responsible for heat/frost damage.

Placed an order. What next?

1. You will receive an order confirmation email with your order summary.*

2. As soon as your order ships from the warehouse, usually within 2-3 business days, this applies to all shipping rates, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information. 2DAY shipping refers to shipping time; we still need 2-3 business days to prepare an order. We need to pick and pack, QA, add printed collateral, and palletize the orders.

3. Please track your package using the tracking service.

4. The carrier will attempt delivery a maximum of 3 times. After 3 delivery attempts, your package will be sent back to our warehouse.**

*Please ensure your email address is correct; otherwise, you will not receive the order and shipping confirmation emails.

**If delivery is attempted 3 times without success, or if you fail to retrieve your package from the carrier depot by the stated deadline, the shipping fee will not be refunded to the customer.

Producer profile

Prisinzano

Prisinzano is the food and farming project of Frank Prisinzano, the New York-based chef and restaurateur behind the Frank Restaurant Group, whose restaurants in Manhattan — Frank, Lil' Frankies, and Supper — have built a following for simple, ingredient-led Italian-American cooking. In 2022, Frank purchased an 822-year-old palazzo and 14 acres of farmland on the Amalfi Coast, setting in motion plans for a hotel, winery, cooking school, and a line of organic products from the estate's terraced gardens.

The estate is farmed by a team entirely local to the Amalfi Coast, who bring generational knowledge of the land — its slopes, its microclimates, its vines, and its rhythms. Everything produced under the Prisinzano name is grown, harvested, and bottled on site, and all farming follows organic principles. The product range extends beyond wine to include olive oil, preserved lemons, tomatoes, and other kitchen essentials from the estate's cultivated land. Frank describes the project as stripped back and purposeful — an extension of the cooking philosophy he has applied in his restaurants for decades.

The Prisinzano Costa d'Amalfi Bianco DOP 2024 is among the estate's first wine releases, grown on the same terraced slopes that have supported viticulture on the Amalfi Coast for centuries. The wine draws on Falanghina and Biancolella, the two indigenous varieties at the heart of the Costa d'Amalfi DOP white wine tradition, and is made to reflect the estate's coastal terroir and organic farming without artifice.

Wine region

Campania, Italy

The Costa d'Amalfi DOP covers a narrow strip of vineyards along the southern Campanian coastline between Positano and Vietri sul Mare, within the province of Salerno. The appellation was established in 1995 and is one of the most geographically challenging wine zones in Italy. The vineyards cling to terraced limestone and volcanic slopes that plunge steeply toward the Tyrrhenian Sea, with elevations ranging from just above sea level to roughly 2,300 feet. The terrain is so extreme that machinery is almost entirely excluded, and grape harvesting is done by hand with the fruit carried down in baskets along stone staircases cut into the cliffs. This demanding form of agriculture is known in Italy as viticultura eroica — heroic viticulture.

The climate is Mediterranean: hot, sunny summers with low rainfall and mild winters, moderated along the coast by constant sea breezes that help maintain acidity in the grapes and limit disease pressure. The soils are a mix of limestone, volcanic tuff, and clay, reflecting both the geological heritage of the Monti Lattari range and the region's proximity to the volcanic fields around Vesuvius. The combination of altitude variation, coastal air, and mineral soils produces white wines with a distinctive saline freshness and aromatic complexity that sets them apart from other Campanian whites.

The DOC recognizes three high-quality subzones — Furore, Ravello, and Tramonti — but the wider appellation produces wines of genuine character throughout the coast. White wines are built primarily around Falanghina and Biancolella, two indigenous varieties well suited to the coastal conditions. The DOC's small total area and the cost and difficulty of production mean that output is limited and overwhelmingly produced by small, family-scale estates.
