The Producer: Yves Amberg
In Epfig, the most extensive wine village in Alsace, Roger Amberg founded a family estate that his son Yves expanded from 7 to 13 hectares upon joining in 1989. Yves modernized the winery by adding a new cellar, two presses, and advanced stainless steel vats. He also collaborated with painter Georges Guthleber to infuse his wine labels with a sense of the terroir, incorporating local soil into the design.
Epfig, nestled among vineyards and traditional half-timbered houses, is characterized by scenic vine-covered hills and diverse outdoor trails. Yves Amberg's vineyards on a south-southeast-facing hill are rich in organic matter and produce distinguished Riesling and Gewurztraminer wines. Committed to organic farming, Yves employs natural treatments to nurture his vineyards, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices to protect the land for future generations.
Dedicated to crafting signature terroir wines, Yves takes a hands-on approach, from manual harvesting to meticulous vinification, aiming for fruitier and fresher outcomes. His method includes precise filtration and innovative vinification techniques, with his wines, except for Crémant, aging on fine lees for three months before estate bottling. This holistic approach underscores Yves's dedication to quality and his deep respect for the environment.

Signature on delivery is mandatory for wine deliveries. Please make sure someone is at the shipping address to sign for the package.
If applicable, please consider delivering the package to a business address to ensure someone is available to sign for the package.
We also have the option of delivering the package to a Carrier's store for pickup. Please reach out to us to coordinate.
Carrier will try to delivery a package up to three times before returning the package to us.

1) Reship the package right away: due to the very high cost of shipping and returns, we must charge a re-shipping fee to be determined based on package size and shipping destination.
2) Consolidate the returned package with your next order: this option is free of charge and it's the most popular option.
