Description

Antonio Camillo's Tutti i Giorni Bianco is a white blend from Tuscany, Italy, crafted for everyday enjoyment. The wine combines Trebbiano (70%), Malvasia (20%), and Ansonica (10%) grapes sourced from vineyards aged between 40 and 50 years. These vineyards are in the Maremma region, characterized by its rolling hills and Mediterranean climate, contributing to the grapes' optimal ripening and flavor development. The grapes are hand-harvested to ensure quality and undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with a 3-day maceration on the skins to extract color and tannins. The wine is then aged in concrete, preserving its fresh and fruity character. This minimal intervention approach highlights the authentic expression of the Tuscan terroir.

Why we like it

Antonio Camillo

Antonio Camillo is a distinguished Italian winemaker renowned for his dedication to indigenous grape varieties and traditional viticulture in Tuscany's Maremma region. With over 25 years of experience in the wine industry, he has contributed significantly to producing wines that reflect Maremma's unique terroir.

In 2006, Camillo embarked on his venture, focusing exclusively on native grapes such as Ciliegiolo and Procanico. He meticulously selects vineyards based on factors like exposure, soil composition, and vine age, often working with old vines aged between 40 and 50. His vineyards, totaling approximately nine hectares near Capalbio, are cultivated using traditional methods, minimizing mechanical interventions and employing only natural products like copper and sulfur for plant health.

Camillo emphasizes minimal intervention in the cellar, utilizing concrete containers and large wooden barrels for aging. He allows the wine to evolve naturally, avoiding technical manipulations that could alter the authentic expression of the harvest. This approach results in elegant and balanced wines, showcasing the region's true character.

Camillo's portfolio includes notable wines such as CiliegioloMediterraneo, and Vermentino, each reflecting his commitment to quality and tradition. Wine region

Tuscany, Italy

Tuscany, nestled in the heart of Italy, is more than a picturesque landscape. It's a realm with profound historical ties to viticulture. The Etruscans, one of the earliest civilizations in Italy, recognized the richness of Tuscan soil. They started the wine cultivation that has flourished for centuries. The Renaissance period further shaped Tuscany's wine narrative. Artisans, poets, and vintners intermingled, creating a tapestry of culture and winemaking. The evolution of Tuscany's wine industry witnessed various influences. Each era, from ancient to modern times, added layers to its intricate wine story. Today, Tuscany stands as a testament to its enduring passion for the craft.

The Tuscan terrain stretches across undulating hills, vast valleys, and coastal areas. Such diverse topography grants Tuscany its unique climate variations. The Tyrrhenian Sea caresses the western edge, instilling a mild maritime climate ideal for grape cultivation. Tuscany's soil composition is equally varied. From the calcareous clay hills of Chianti to the mineral-rich soils of Bolgheri, each terroir imparts distinctive characteristics to the grapes. Organic wine production has thrived in these settings, reflecting a commitment to natural processes and genuine expression of the land.

Tuscany boasts a plethora of wines that narrate tales of its rich heritage. Sangiovese is the region's shining star, forming the backbone of iconic wines like Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. These wines capture the very essence of Tuscany. Beyond Sangiovese, Tuscany has gained acclaim for its 'Super Tuscans' - blends that often feature international varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The surge in natural wine practices has further solidified Tuscany's reputation. Producers are increasingly focusing on minimal intervention, underscoring the region's dedication to authenticity and environmental harmony.
