Jean-Luc Hubert, a winemaker at Château La Grolet, represents a rich tradition in the Côtes du Bourg region, located on the northern right bank of Bordeaux, opposite Margaux across the Gironde River. The Hubert family acquired the estate in 1997, includes a 17th-century manor house set in a 50-hectare estate with 38 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The remaining land comprises natural grassland, woodland, waterways, and water sources.

Jean-Luc, Catherine Hubert, and their children Rachel and Guillaume are deeply committed to biodynamic farming and natural winemaking. The steep slopes of their estate, composed of gravel and clay terroir, are planted with varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. This rich biodiversity contributes to the production of complex and pure wines.

Château La Grolet is a testament to the Hubert family's dedication to respecting the environment and producing high-quality natural wines. Each generation of the family has added to the legacy, with Guillaume joining the business in 2007 after completing environmental and ecological studies and Rachel, a qualified pharmacist, joining in 2012 to focus primarily on producing high-quality natural wines.
