Description

Francesco Cirelli Orange is a natural wine crafted from 100% Trebbiano grapes sourced from organically farmed vineyards in Abruzzo, Italy. The region's clay and limestone soils and Mediterranean climate, which the nearby Adriatic Sea influences, provide an ideal terroir for viticulture. Cirelli employs minimal-intervention winemaking practices, including spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. The grapes are destemmed and undergo a one-month maceration on the skins in stainless steel vats, allowing for gentle extraction of flavors and tannins. After pressing, the wine rests on its fine lees in steel for four months, enhancing its complexity and texture. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration, adhering to natural winemaking principles.

In 2003, he and his partner Michela established Agricola Cirelli, a 22-hectare certified organic farm near the village of Atri, approximately 8 kilometers from the Adriatic Sea. This strategic location offers a unique microclimate, with the sea's proximity providing a maritime influence that enhances the natural balance of their wines. The estate is dedicated to a holistic approach to farming, cultivating vineyards, olive groves, wheat fields, and livestock. This diversity promotes biodiversity and sustainability, aligning with Cirelli's philosophy of respecting natural cycles. The vineyards are planted with indigenous grape varieties such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, and Pecorino, which thrive in the area's clay and limestone soils.

Signature on delivery is mandatory for wine deliveries. Please make sure someone is at the shipping address to sign for the package.

If applicable, please consider delivering the package to a business address to ensure someone is available to sign for the package.

We also have the option of delivering the package to a Carrier's store for pickup. Please reach out to us to coordinate.

Carrier will try to delivery a package up to three times before returning the package to us.
