Ortrugo adds citrus-driven acidity and the local character that grounds the wine in this specific valley.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGrapes are macerated on the skins for approximately 15 days, then aged for 8 months in stainless steel. The wine is bottled unfiltered with minimal added sulfites. Fermentation relies on indigenous yeasts with no other additions in the cellar.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGiulio Armani, the long-time winemaker at La Stoppa and founder of Denavolo, serves as enological consultant to Paolo Foppiani.
