The soils here are clay and limestone threaded with the iron-oxide-rich golden stone the area is named for, sitting at around 320 meters elevation on the northwestern outskirts of Lyon.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e2020 was a warm year in Beaujolais, producing wines with darker red fruit, more flesh and body than cooler vintages. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented spontaneously with native yeasts using whole-bunch maceration. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfites — what the producers call zero-zero winemaking.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBottled in a 1-liter format, Tutti Frutti is Beysang's most approachable, fruit-driven cuvée. It comes from sandier parcels within the estate, producing wines with higher aromatic intensity and lower structural tension than their single-site bottlings.
