Stone Soup is a field blend of Syrah and Viognier grown on a steep, rocky, two-acre vineyard about one mile up the hill from their home, planted in 2004 at 1,900 feet. The 2016 is 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier at 12.7% alcohol, its eighth vintage and a child of the fifth drought year in a row.
