This produces a lightly oxidative character, with a toasty, nutty finish alongside the pert acidity typical of Sylvaner. No sulfites are added at any point in the vineyard or cellar, and the wine is unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe name \"Siggi\" is pronounced with a \"Z\" sound. The cuvee is designed with age in mind: one source notes that seven years is considered its age of reason.
