After destemming, the must macerates on the skins before racking and a soft press of the bunches. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, no temperature control, and no added chemicals at any stage. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfur. Cellar clarification follows Furlani's practice of racking into demijohns and placing them outside in the winter snow to settle naturally.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is a light-bodied alpine red with the brightness of Marzemino and Negrara pulling toward red cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate, while Teroldego and Lagrein contribute deeper berry fruit and a whisper of earth.
