The vines are 35 years old, planted at roughly 300 meters elevation on clay soils. Total production is around 500 bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWinemaking is straightforward and hands-off: the grapes macerate on their skins overnight, are pressed the following morning, and the juice rests in fiberglass tanks for a few months. No sulfites are added at any stage. The wine is unfined and unfiltered.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe overnight maceration gives the wine a deeper cherry-pink color than most Provence-style rosés. On the palate it is dry, low in alcohol (around 10.5%), and built around fresh red fruit — strawberry, cherry, and cranberry — with bright, lively acidity. Light tannins from the brief skin contact add just enough grip to give the wine some structure.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe LAB label name comes from the initials of Luca's two sons, Lorenzo Amerigo and Leonardo Andrea Bevilacqua.
