Farming follows biodynamic principles, with only copper, sulfur, and biodynamic preparations used in the vineyard. The Aglianico parcels include the Turrumpiso site, where vines are over 50 years old, though the fruit for Pink Freud is sourced from younger parcels designated for rosé production.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the cellar, grapes are destemmed and directly pressed, with spontaneous fermentation carried out using only native yeasts in stainless steel. The 2019 vintage aged for 9 months in stainless steel before bottling. No filtration, no fining, and no sulfites are added at any stage.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is a light ruby rosato with a nose of red berry fruit, floral notes, and a hint of spice. On the palate it is fresh and medium-bodied, with lively acidity and a persistent finish built around blood orange and wild cherry.
