The blend is dominated by Cabernet Franc (51%) with Petite Sirah (18.5%), Syrah (14.5%), and small amounts of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Viognier, Grenache, and Mourvèdre making up the remainder.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWinemaker Darek Trowbridge farms organically and biodynamically without irrigation. Grapes are hand-picked and foot-stomped as whole clusters, then macerated on skins and stems for three days. Fermentation proceeds with native yeasts only. The wine ages nine months in neutral barrels sur lie, unfined and unfiltered, with 15 mg\/L of added SO2 at bottling.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is a light, fruit-forward red built for chilling. Wild cherry drives the palate, while clove and star anise come through on the nose.
