La Tesnière is 70% Menu Pineau, 30% Chenin Blanc from 60 year old vines, coming from a single parcel of purchased organic fruit called La Roche.   For many years it was released as a Touraine but had to be declassified when the appellation began refusing the use of Menu Pineau.
