Residual lees contribute texture and keep the wine alive without additives.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLammidia is based in Villa Celiera, a small village within the Gran Sasso National Park in the province of Pescara. Davide Gentile and Marco Giuliani, friends since childhood in Pescara, started making wine in 2010 and released their first official vintage in 2013. They built their own concrete tanks and amphorae and operate on a no-chemicals, no-filtration, no-sulfur philosophy across their entire range. Their motto: uva e basta (grapes and that is it).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePanda Rosa sits outside conventional Abruzzo DOC classifications, sold as a table wine, which gives Lammidia full freedom over variety selection and winemaking.
