Grapes come from organically farmed vineyards in Rocca San Giovanni, Province of Chieti, planted between 1998 and 2001 on clayey and calcareous soils, situated within the Fosso delle Farfalle, a protected site of community interest (SIC) roughly 1 km from the Adriatic coast. The vineyards sit at approximately 150 meters above sea level and face the sea.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAfter harvest, the grapes are direct-pressed into stainless steel tanks and fermented using only indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for a few months in the same steel tanks. No fining, no filtration, and no sulfites are added at any stage. Total SO2 remains below 10 mg\/L.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is a deep, bright pink wine with an intense aromatic profile. On the nose it shows blackcurrant, strawberry, and pomegranate, followed by wild herb and Mediterranean scrub notes.
