The wine is a blend of all four varieties grown on the estate: Aglianico and the white grapes Fiano, Falanghina, and Trebbiano, each contributing a distinct character — the structure and acidity of Aglianico, the fruit of Fiano, and the minerality of Trebbiano. Grapes are hand-harvested from multiple parcels at 420 to 470 meters elevation on calcareous-tufaceous, clay-rich soils.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts in the cellar, followed by approximately nine to ten months of aging in stainless steel tanks. The wine is unfiltered, unfined, and bottled with no added sulfites. Sediment may be present.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOn the nose, the wine shows fragrant red berry fruit — raspberry and wild strawberry — with light floral and spice undertones. On the palate it is fresh and medium-bodied with good persistence. Serve at 46–50°F (8–10°C) in a tulip glass.
