All Gearhead wines are produced from organically farmed fruit, foot-tread, with carbonic maceration, no added sulfur, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. This is a zero-zero wine in the truest sense.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is a light, chillable red that drinks more like a carbonic Rhone blend than anything else California produces. The Chardonnay softens the structure and adds texture; the Counoise brings high-toned red fruit and acidity; the Carignan adds spice and grip.
