The vines are over 30 years old, trained in the traditional pergola abruzzese system, planted on clay soils over a marl subsoil at 300 meters above sea level, with a south-facing exposure toward the Adriatic Sea and the Maiella massif to the west.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGrapes are hand-harvested and undergo semi-carbonic maceration as whole clusters, with foot treading, fermenting spontaneously for approximately one month in steel or fiberglass tanks. The wine is then aged in stainless steel. No fining, no filtration, no added sulfites — only minimal copper is used in the vineyard when needed.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is an intensely ruby-colored red with aromas of violet, ripe cherry, blackberry, and wild forest fruit, backed by fresh acidity and firm but balanced tannins. It is a high-drinkability wine designed to be shared at the table rather than cellared, though it can develop further with a few years of aging.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eProduction is limited to 1,200 bottles per vintage.
