Meinklang holds Demeter biodynamic certification for this vineyard.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe wine is made using the ancestral method: fermentation begins in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is bottled with approximately 10 grams of residual sugar to finish fermentation in the bottle. It is unfined, unfiltered, and sealed under crown cap. A small amount of sulfur is added at bottling. Alcohol comes in at 10.5% ABV.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass it pours hazy and pale yellow. The nose leads with elderflower, lemon, and green apple, backed by a faint yeasty note from the in-bottle fermentation. The porous volcanic basalt soils of Somló drive a distinct stony minerality through the palate, with bright, grippy acidity typical of Juhfark.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMeinklang's main estate is in Pamhagen, Burgenland, Austria, within the UNESCO-protected Neusiedlersee National Park.
