The wine is 100% Nebbiolo from vineyards at about 350 to 400 meters above sea level, with south and south-east exposure, on soils of clay and calcareous limestone.   Grapes are hand harvested, de-stemmed and lightly crushed, then fermented in vertical steel tanks with maceration of about 40 to 45 days, using daily pump overs and occasional délestage.
