Produced by Castello di Tassarolo, the marl and silty-clay soils sit at 300 metres above sea level, and all vineyard work is done by hand with the use of heavy horses. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo 15 days of maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeasts in tanks. Orsola Monferrato Rosso 2024 then ages six months on lees in stainless steel, bottled with light filtration, no fining, and no added sulfites.
