Winemaker Chris Walsh used a combination of direct-to-press juice and juice with up to 24 hours of skin contact, giving the wine light color and a bit of textural grip without moving into orange wine territory.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAfter primary fermentation in tank using native yeasts, the wine was racked to neutral French oak barrels and aged for seven months. It received a single SO2 addition of 25ppm prior to bottling and was not fined or filtered. Total sulfite additions across all End of Nowhere wines are kept at 40ppm or less.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe nose leads with small red berry fruit and cola. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with bright acidity and a distinctive saline finish.
