The site has a cooler, more coastal feel than the nearby McLaren Vale, despite being geographically adjacent.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result sits somewhere between a chilled light red and a dark rosé. Carbonic fermentation amplifies the fresh strawberry and red fruit character while keeping tannins minimal. There is a savory, herbal quality on the finish with a faint salty edge.
