It grows on clay-limestone soils (argilo-calcaire) across 25 parcels spread over the hillsides surrounding Rosheim.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhole bunches are macerated on the skins for 7 days, then pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for 10 to 11 months in large Alsatian oak foudres and demi-muids without topping up, allowing a light voile to develop. It is unfined, unfiltered, and zero sulfur is added at any stage in the vineyard or cellar.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the glass, expect an amber-gold color with floral and slightly smoky aromas, notes of white peach, stone fruit, mandarin, and a saline mineral edge on the finish. The skin contact builds fine tannin texture without heaviness — the wine stays fresh and direct.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePart of Dreyer's Origin series, which isolates each single Alsatian variety from the same vintage.
