In 2021 the estate lost 100% of the grapes from their own vineyards to a hailstorm centered around Valgrand, and another hailstorm in 2022 left them with only 25% of a normal harvest.   In response, all remaining grapes were harvested the same day; the Grenache Noir, Grenache Blanc, Petit Sirah and Viognier were destemmed and sorted, then blended into the directly pressed juice of Sauvignon Blanc to macerate for around a month.
