The Pro Fondo Surlie Glera is a sparkling wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, made entirely from Glera, the same grape used in Prosecco.   It is produced using the traditional sur lie method, known locally as Colfondo, in which a second fermentation takes place in the bottle and the lees are left undisturbed.
