The vineyards are situated on hilly terrain with east-west exposure on soils of medium consistency, receiving sunlight from dawn to sunset. Chiorri, a family-run winery established in the late 1800s, achieved SQNPI certification (National Quality System for Integrated Production) with the 2020 harvest, the first in Umbria. The wine carries Umbria IGT designation.
