The estate sits between the Monbazillac and Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux appellations, on soils derived primarily from Castillon limestone with a surface layer of clay, silt, and pebbles. Grapes are hand-harvested and fully destemmed before pressing.

Fermentation runs 15 to 30 days with daily pump-overs, and malolactic fermentation is completed in full. Aging occurs in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel.
