The project began with four friends, Alfredo Giugno, Nicola Reginaldi, Fabio Petrella and Loreto Lamolinara, who arrived at wine through fermentation generally rather than through wine school. Two of them had already opened a craft micro-brewery, La Casa di Cura, in Crognaleto in 2013. They rented old Montepulciano and Trebbiano vineyards near Montorio al Vomano, high in the Teramo hinterland, and started making wine on their own terms.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFarming is strictly natural, fermentations are spontaneous, and the cellar does as little as possible: no invasive practices, no corrections. The results are direct and alive, and polish is not the goal.
